No matter what kind of app you use, you will encounter a situation where you need to edit the hosts file to block the app from connecting to the copyright check server. I usually instruct you to use the command: sudo nano /etc/hosts. However, SwitchHosts will make it a lot easier.

You just need to open the app, it will automatically connect to the host file, your job is to press the + sign and follow the instructions to add content.

Then slide the slider to on, enter the password to write to system hosts. Those who pay attention will understand how to use it.
