DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 – Free download for macOS

DaVinci Resolve 19 is a professional editing, visual effects, motion graphics, color correction, and audio post production software. It is used by Hollywood filmmakers, colorists, and audio engineers, and is now available for free on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

What’s new in DaVinci Resolve 19

DaVinci Resolve 19 includes a number of new features, including:

• DaVinci Neural Engine: This new AI-powered engine powers a number of new features, including automatic object tracking, face recognition, and skin retouching.
• Stereoscopic 3D: DaVinci Resolve 19 now includes full support for stereoscopic 3D editing and compositing.
• Fairlight FX: A new collection of audio plugins has been added to Fairlight, including EQs, compressors, and reverbs.
• HDR grading: DaVinci Resolve 19 includes advanced HDR grading tools, including support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

How to install & activate

For latest version:

1. Open the downloaded file, run the Install Resolve file … to install as usual
2. After installation, open the app once, the software will ask for a code to Activate, ignore it and close it (This step is important, must be done, if you miss a step, you have to uninstall and reinstall from the beginning)
3. Open the Davinci_patch file> then click on the macOS folder. Then drag the Resolve file into the macOS folder that just opened > select Replace
4. Press Shift + Command + . to show hidden files. Then find the following path (Must show hidden files to find it): /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/.license/
5. Many people do this part wrong. The Library folder is on the Macintosh drive, not the Library in the User folder.
6. Copy the blackmagic.lic file to the .license folder.
