Tecno POP 5 LTE, the device has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz touch sampling rate and 480 nits brightness. The screen also has a waterdrop notch that houses a selfie camera.

The new POP 5 LTE is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio A25 processor, manufactured on a 12 nm process. The device has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot, allowing for additional storage expansion up to 256 GB.

The device comes pre-installed with Android 11 (Go Edition) operating system when it reaches users, with HiOS 7.6 interface. The back of the POP 5 LTE has an 8 MP main camera and an 8 MP AI lens with f/2.0 aperture. The phone also features: Dual SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 80211ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. Lastly, the device is touted to be IPX2 rated for splash-proofing.

The POP 5 LTE offers photography and video modes like AI portrait, AI Beauty, 1080P Video, HDR Filter, AI Scene Detection, and 4X Zoom. On the front, the device has a 5MP f/2.0 camera. All of this is powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery, but the fast charging technology is still unknown.

How to Flash Firmware / Stock ROM

To flash the stock firmware on your Tecno device using SP Flash Tool, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the MTK USB Drivers on your computer.
2. Download and extract the SP Flash Tool.
3. Launch Flash_tool.exe as administrator.
4. Click on the Scatter-loading button and select the Android scatter file (.txt) from the extracted firmware folder.
5. Click the Download button.
6. Power off your device completely, hold the Volume Down or Volume Up button, and connect it to the computer via USB cable.
7. The flashing process will start automatically. Wait for the green “Download OK” checkmark to appear.
