Stock ROM / Firmware for Tecno Spark 8 (KG6)

The smartphone is powered by the Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 Octa-core processor while the GPU is PowerVR GE8320. The smartphone comes with a 6.52 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.

The rear camera consists of 16 MP + Secondary unknown camera lenses that allow you to enable Quad-LED flash. The front camera has an 8 MP (wide) sensor with a Quad-LED flash.

The sensors available in the device include Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, and proximity. The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery + Charging 10W while the phone runs on Android 11 + HIOS 7.6 operating system.

Tecno Spark 8 comes in different colors such as Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, and Iris Purple. It features micro USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go, FM radio, GPS, and Bluetooth. The device is packed with 2 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage.

How to Flash Firmware / Stock ROM

To flash the stock firmware on your Tecno device using SP Flash Tool, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the MTK USB Drivers on your computer.
2. Download and extract the SP Flash Tool.
3. Launch Flash_tool.exe as administrator.
4. Click on the Scatter-loading button and select the Android scatter file (.txt) from the extracted firmware folder.
5. Click the Download button.
6. Power off your device completely, hold the Volume Down or Volume Up button, and connect it to the computer via USB cable.
7. The flashing process will start automatically. Wait for the green “Download OK” checkmark to appear.
